Could someone give me some ideas on how to resolve the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14592 bytes) in /home/sforge/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.class.php on line 2158

I run:

Joomla 1.0.10
JSMF 2.0 RC 1

Removing JSMF cures the error.

bump up your max allowed memory in your php.ini. You have to remember you are loading two separate pieces of software and the memory usage is going to be up because of that. A setting of 16M should be sufficient.
