Joomla 1.09 should really cut down the number of queries needed to the database. Check out query usage by Joomla version at the link above.

Note that 1.07 is a real resource hog. 1.09 seems to cut usage roughing in half.

Big improvements versus 1.0, too, so you can imagine what Mambo must be.

Installed 109 but it complains about no data when changing the forum tab, yanc tab, and guestbook tab

and sef.php also breaks the redirect after writing a guestbook message.
