I'd like to set the forum to be the homepage - is it possible?
I'm a joomla newbie - been using xoops for a while and w/ xoops i can easlily set any module / component to be the homepage

Create a link to your forum component in the Main Menu. Then move the link to the top. Mambo/Joomla use the first link in that menu for determining the homepage.
