Hi there - I'm a CB newbie, but not new to Joomla/Mambo, PHP or MySQL....

I need to create some custom fields that include a number in the field name. Basically, what I will be doing is somewhat of an attendance tab that I'd like to name one of the following two ways:

Field:
event1
event2
event3

or as a date:
061006
061706
062406

(for June X, 2006)...

How can I add numbers to the field name? CB keeps kicking it back without the number. Is this something I can change in phpMyAdmin? Or is this coded into the PHP somewhere?
