Hi everyBody,
First of all, thanks to community for this great component !

I have a little question, and in could'nt find anywhere (google, other forums...) the answer :
What is the way to 'turn on' the visibility of user name and email...
I would like to setup tabs in CB with contact info details...

I have another question : As i could see here, there is a first and last name in this details, how to change the 'default' alone 'name' field...

Am i clear enough ?

Thanks in advance for response.
Cheers.

Go to components
Go to community builder
Go to Field Management
Click creat new field

"Type": there is a choice here for email address.
Pick your tab

Hope that helps

No sorry that did not help, I appreciate your response though.

I should have indicated that I tried that. I found that this creates an extra field for email. I was hoping to use the email address the users had used during their registration. The one you will also see in both usermanagers, as well as on the tab "Messages" and the one that is already in the profile edit page.
-It is a Joomla native field and is referenced on the profile-edit page as

"td class="titleCell">Email:</td>
<td class="fieldCell"><input class="inputbox" type="text" name="email" mosReq="1" mosLabel="Email" value="nameX@domainX.org" size="40"

I managed to find a way to display it. It's a bit tricky and requires a minimal change in the database. I don't recommend it unless you're comfortable with SQL or database in general:

==============================================
- Open your database (use PHP MyAdmin, etc)
- Look for table "mos_comprofiler_fields"
- Browse the data and look for record "email"
- Change the value of "tabid" (this is NULL at the moment) field to match the tab ID of where you'd like this e-mail to appear (An easy way to get this ID is to find a field that you know is located at that tab and check their "tabid" field).
- Change the "ordering" field from NULL to a value. This is your ordering sequence.
===============================================

That's it. I haven't test how it'll affect the database or other components but so far it works fine for me
