I actually got this to work the correct way, sugardevil are you using the correct language file? The one I changed is located at:

/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/default_language.php

and i modified line 154 to look like this (i use the pending approval email):

i just modified the language.php file so i can get the other fields, but how can i have a link in the mail to activate a user, without login to the backend ?
