Is their a way to show things like the Wall on pages outside of the GJ panels?

Yes, using API. Please see how group_main.php template file handles beforeTab and afterTab. This is where integrations are pulled from. You could use the different display types of the getIntegrations and get an array of integrations then just display whichever you want.

okay, so, I'm looking over the API docs.. would I need to make a custom module ? I was looking at mod_cbcontent to see if it could be used as a starting point..

You can't render any of this through substitutions, sorry. This is something you'd need to develop in a custom module or something of the sort.
