Is there a way to have "Groups" in using CB? was created by sacredspaceship.com
I am aware of groupjive, which is currently being rebuilt. I don't know how long it is going to take so I'm looking for an alternative. Does anyone know if there is there a way to use Community Builder to create groups so that site users can create their own groups?

the current version of the GroupJive component and CB plugins work very well.
