While it's not yet integrated with Community Builder, you may want to consider migration to the native Joomla forum component Agora forum, which is full-featured with front end administration as well as group permissions and the like.


My largest site has a Joomla / Joomlahacks / SMF. After a lot of testing, I have finally come to realize the native Joomla Agora forum component is likely the best option. I'll be migrating another site from Fireboard soon and expect to convert the Joomla / SMF site to Agora as well, once I perform more tests.
