[#4494] Is it possible to fix fieldvalue_ID ? was created by erilam

Hello,

We are xorking on a webservice between an application and a Joomla website and we found a problem with this webservice. After an attentive observation we note that if someone open a cbfield and regiter this field (without changing any value) the fieldvalueid is changing.
So my question is is it possible to fix this fieldvalue id or set the cbfield on readonly ?

Thanks for bringing this good question up.

Right now, when saving a field with all its values, all values are rewritten, and thus new ids are generated. But that doesn't have to stay that way ;-)

I've added a bug ticket for this as there's really no need for it to delete all and save all on every field save.
