CB Gallery version is 2.1.0+build.2017.09.04.14.56.36.74e7d20ee
I tried both as moderator or as owner and got the same screenshot result.
That used to work on a test made a couple of weeks ago but this time I don't have the buttons.

Ah, I see what's happening. It's the EXIF data parsing. The foreach loop has a conflicting variable name. Fixing for next build for today. You'll notice uploads without EXIF work fine.

Coming back on this subject, I noticed the same problem on CB photo field if a photo is uploaded from iOS from instance.
Had to deactivate user resize to make it work

Correct, client side resizing can not maintain the EXIF data. I'm going to see if I can 1:1 pass it to the new File JS object, but I've no idea if that's even possible atm. If I am unable to implement that then no solution will be implemented as the alternative is a heavy JS library for parsing EXIF data out, which I've no plans to implement.
