[#7248] alias field - 0 Call to a member function get() on null

Hello guys,

when we insert a name in your alias field for the profile url, we get an error.

After saving the profile there is "site not found" and error message "0 Call to a member function get() on null" ...

Any idea, what we can do? Joomla, CB and plugins are up2date.

Run synchronize users within CB > Tools as sounds like the user may not exist in CB. If issue persists enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then see if it provides a file and line number for the error.

Synchronize users leads to the same error.... With debug we get the message:

"Call to a member function getUserData() on null
/website/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/libraries/cbpaidUserExtension.php:122"

That should only happen if CBuser API is used against a user id that doesn't exist in CB. Looks like the CBuser usage at that location isn't accounting for that and have added a bug ticket to fix.
