Privacy setting with "preview profile"?

4 years 4 months ago #315565 by ericmuc
Hi,
If a user change privacy for a profile field to "private" , he see his own profile with the private field and may be unsure, whether the private field is hidden for others.
Here a preview function or a note in his own profile would help to check the situation easily for the profile owner.
Is there a possibility to create such scenario with the current possibilities?
Thanks, best regards
Eric

It is not possible to do a preview functionality like that without basically logging them out. There are no plans for a preview feature. Easiest way for them to preview is try to reach their profile using private browser tab which will create an isolated environment where their login cookie doesn't exist.
