Changing gateway was created by toddfletcher
I need to know how to change the gateway account a re-occurring payment is connected to. It seems that some re-occurring payment subscriptions are not longer working and the customer has created a new paypal account. I would like to connect the subscription to the new paypal account.
Alternatively, I may need to begin using a second gateway, and would need to establish a connect from the customer subscription to the alternate gateway account.
I know that I could force the customer to cancel the subscription and resubscribe, but I would surely loose a certain percentage of those subscriptions if I force it. Simply moving the connection would be a service to the customer I would like to provide.
How would I go about doing this?

You can't move recurring subscriptions. You'll need to cancel them then have the users resubscribe to the new gateway account.
