We had a bunch of members with annual memberships expire yesterday. This was OK as an email was sent out to them and when they next logged on they were then prompted to renew (as we've set this NOT to allow free access to registered users without subscriptions).
However, we have some members on the executive committee where I've added them to a group called 'Executive' as well as Registered (Registered is the parent of Executive), and if they have expired and try to log in they just get a blocked message as opposed to being prompted to re-register.
If I remove them from the Executive group all works fine, but it means I've got to remember to add them in again when they've renewed.
Any ideas on how I can sort this?
