How can I export data from community builder and cb subs to an excel or cvs? I need to send out reports to our board members of new members or past memberships, financial reports, etc...

Database queries in phpmyadmin then export the results as CSV. There's also some reporting extensions that can help with this as they use direct queries as well. CB and CBSubs currently don't have any reporting features, but it's planned for later releases.
