Renewal and upgrade through backend

Renewal and upgrade through backend was created by AusAPT
What is the correct way for us to renew/upgrade a membership through the backend?
I ask, because some of our members phone our treasurer to renew their membership over the phone.

I'm sorry but I couldn't find an answer to my question in the manual nor in the forum. If you could please explain the steps or maybe tell me where I can find them explained?

Renewing and subscribing from backend completely bypasses the payment gateway. If you need to log payment details like a check number, etc.. you should navigate to their profile on frontend and use the subscription tab on the users behalf. Then pay the basket from backend. If you don't need to log payment details you can just renew or subscribe them by editing them in Cb > User Management.

We have this same problem and its so painful. This year we have had almost 50 people phoning us to pay by card or they pay by offline method but did not create a baqsket!

How can we navigate to the front end - we do not have their passwords... Is there a way under payment baskets to add the facility to add a manual payment basket perhaps, because we need the audit trail and we do management reports from payments. Even sometimes refunds, so it has to be logged...

Any help would be appreciated.

Even if I sue a master password, once a member has expired, you cannot log in using master password...
