first of what is the is the difference between SMF 1.1RC2 and SMF 1.0.7
Must i upgrade to this version and use the Bridge 1.1.4.
I dont mind doing the migration thing, as long as it always takes one registration or one login to browse the site, CB profiles and forums
Currently i have
SMF 1.0.7
CB 1.0
Joomla 1.0.8
I can never find what i need just for thoses..There are always ones for Rc2? Rc1 ...what are the differences?

As I said, I haven't used that bridge, but the 1.1.4 has all the migrating options back and forth for joomla to smf and vice versa. It's worth checking out.

FROM JoomlaHack.com
COMPATIBILITY:
=====================================
* Joomla 1.0.x (recommended)
* 2. Mambo 4.5.3+ (recommended)
* SMF 1.1 RC2+
PRE-REQUISITE:
=====================================
1. Use the default database prefixes!
* 'jos' for Joomla
* 'mos_' for Mambo
* 'smf_' for SMF
2. Install Joomla 1.0.x (recommended) or Mambo 4.5.3+
* Example Absolute Path: /home/user/public_html/
* Example Live Site URL: www.yoursite.com
3. Install SMF 1.1RC2+ on the same database as the Joomla/Mambo installation
* Example Absolute Path: /home/user/public_html/smf/
* Example SMF Forum URL: www.yoursite.com/smf
- The installation is simple (just a component install)
- You run a patch for joomla from the component
- You run a patch for smf from the component
- click Synchronize Joomla and SMF users
You can configure it to redirect profile link in SMF to Community Builder, and tell it to use Community Builder registration so that all users will remain in sync from there on. pretty cool stuff. Just make sure you meet the requirements and enjoy. :woohoo:
