member directory was created by rd42
Is there a mod or something that would allow my users to browse a member directory?

This seems to be a broad problem. I have tried all the fixes I've seen on here and still cannot access the directory publicly. I will post if I find a resolution.

The user list feature that comes standard with CB is a directory with customisable fields etc. Following the CB installation manual will show you how to create a link to this 'CB List'. Is that what you are looking for?

Found it. Thanks much. I'd been through the manuals backward and forward and apparently just missed it. I've been working 24/7 to get this up. After sleeping on it, I reread the manual and found it. It is on page 13. Thanks again. :)

make sure list permissions allow front end access to the list or you will get that "you are not authorized" notice at

your_site.com/component/option,com_comprofiler/task,usersList/

(its labeled User Group to allow access to: in the list setting, choose "everybody" and everybody can see it)
