I don't need or want to know when new users register. I've looked everywhere and I can't find a setting for this. Weirdly, my site didn't initially notify me upon new user reg, but just started by itself on 2/1. Thanks for your help.

I would like to accomplish this also and have not found the answer yet on these forums.

I am trying to accomplish the exact opposite.

I have Joomla 1.5.x installed, am a Super Administrator and have set myself to "receive system emails" (under J's user manager).

Description of this setting:

Receive System E-mails. Here you can select whether to let this user receive the system e-mails or not. Only available when editing Administrators or Super Administrators.

However I am not receiving any notifications of new user sign ups.

Is there a setting in CB? If so I have not found it..

edit - sorry poked around the forums some more and it works now... basically followed these 2 threads: here and here . I also overlooked the fact that the email must *first* be confirmed before the system sends a moderation email to the administrator.
