The generic CB installation doesnt allow this. It can be done if you hack the core codes though.

Can you point me in direction of where this should be done?

I am thinking that it's either just a matter of saying that the link should be shown, but on the other hand it would seem logical that it also needs to be changed in the e-mail feature it self.

Is there a core member that knows this or where to begin?

I hope this will become part of the core sometime as it creates a hole new set of possibilites for the use of CB as I my project (each profile is selling something and not a person profile) where I need the feature.

It's much more complicated than just showing the link. You also need to allow visitors to end their names and email addresses, and modify the emailing part of CB to check if the email is from a visitor, hence to use custom emails and names instead of those stored in the user database table.

I too would like this feature. A realty site sometime list agents profiles so that potential clients can contact a particular agent directly via email.

You are the first one to get an error. I am not quite sure how to help you though. Please check that the file is not corrupt first. Also I am not quite sure when you get the error. Please elaborate on this.
