welcome text not displayed properly

welcome text not displayed properly was created by bralmica
When I or another registered user logs in they don't get to see 'Hi (name)' but it says '_UE_HI_NAME'
I am sure however that i saw it displayed correctly briefly once.
do I need to change it somewhere?
