I uninstalled CB inc cblogin etc. reinstalled it all and now it seems that it works.

that is to say it did look alright....fot about 30 minutes....now its back to the same name

I did however change something in the language section using the cpanel code editor in us-ascii. I changed an error in translation from hobby to occupation (beroep)

I think i solved it.

added

DEFINE ('_UE_HI_NAME','Hallo %s');

to the dutchlanguage plugin....seems to be working as it should now.
