When attempting to register with Internet Explorer 7 (other users are having problem as well) I get the following message when I click on register (also the url changes to http:/// ):

The address is not valid

Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

What you can try:
Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

When using Firefox 1.5.0.8 I get a popup window which states:

Alert.

The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

However, it does go into the registration form.


Joomla! 1.0.11, CB 1.0.2. All modules installed per upgrade instructions. Problem was existing before upgrade, had hoped upgrade would correct problem.

Looks like an Internet Explorer thing. I just tried to register with Netscape and got the same message as I did with Firefox, then was directed to the registration page.

Come on, what gives? I can't be the only one with this problem.
