I managed to insert an IFRAME using a custom module, which pointed to a specific php file on my sever. I did not manage to hack the editor to allow users to insert their own IFRAMEs. There IS a commercial plugin which will do this as I remember coming across it while after I'd done my own updates however I'm afraid I can't remember where I found it. Try Yahoo! as that is the search engine I always use.
