In about a month, my client intends to begin selling memberships OFFLINE -- which will mean that I have to set up a number of "generic" user accounts for those who purchase the membership package offline.

At the moment, I am manually creating accounts for those who purchase an annual membership via Paypal. This allows me to also copy their info (name, address, email) to an external database/client file. I have registration DISABLED and members are sent to the news page upon logging in.

I need to figure out how to accomodate an instant log-in for these offline membership buyers, so they get what they've paid for -- BUT I also need to have them enter their information (name, address, email) and receive notification of such so that I can maintain the external database as well as expiration dates.

Yea, I know it's confusing. Just hoping someone has maybe an idea on a good way to do this?
