I've been working on trying to call userlists based on the "Registered, Author, Editor, Publisher" ACL, but I'm apparently forgetting something.

Can someone give me a sample call for creating User Directories based on this SQL query?

You need to make custom filter that contains condition gid in (x,y,z...) where x,y,z... is a comma separated list of ACL group IDs. You can find the IDs in the database in table jos_core_acl_groups
