If anyone here uses facebook they will know what I mean.

I would like to see a feature whereby members could create and join their own groups/societies, such as "Football team X Suporters"

The user group gets given a forum in smf to post in, they get their own (modified) profile, with comments book and all the other pluggins.

A member can join and create any number of user groups/societies.

This would really add a boost to cb's features!

Is anyone interested in this?

This is indeed a nice feature. It also is in development. Take a look at GroupJive (www.groupjive.com). Their forums are "hosted" here in the Third-Party Section on the Forums.

It's real nice imho.

Well that is good news! I tried to view their site, but it didn't display for me, maybe its just my connection.
