I have been trying to find out about karma points and can find nothing on the joomla site.

Questions

1) Is there a Karma point plugin or is it a core component?
2) Where can you find information about using Karma points? I notice that several plugins have admin fields for Karma, but where does it start and how/where do you give or take away Karma points?

sorry if there is information out there, but the search feature does not seem to bring back any relevant information.
