Hi,

There are many unorganized pluggins and components download out there and for a newbie it is a nightmare.
I finally realized that I need both UddeIM component and UddeIM plugin.
After installing all these things and triple checking to ensure that UddeIM is selected I was selecting running into probs with messages not being sent.
Then, when trying to send messages via the message Box,
I got:
[code:1]SQL errorDB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'username' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO jos_pms [/code:1]

After searching everywhere here and on the net, I found nothing... However, I went back to the components list and realized that I had also installed a PMS component
called, Enhanced PMS 2 which was taking precedence with UddeIM and denying it connection.

What I learned is this: After ensuring that no other PMS pluggin is enabled aside from UddeIM, make sure also that there is NO other PMS components installed.

All my weekend gone trying to figure this thing out;)
