Lost part of register form

Lost part of register form was created by Blocat
Hi Guys
When I try to register a test user the firstname,lastname,email and password fields have gone walkabout. (never even told me b4 they went)
Running
Joomla 1.0.13
CB 1.1
Fireboard latest
and AEC with all hacks committed
The only clue is, when I enter aec help section it says user registration is disabled but I can not find a way to enable it.
Checked setting in global config and cb config all ok.
It seems to have happenned about the time I published captcha but not sure. Anyway have unpublished again.
Any Ideas folks ??
