Thinking about using Joomlapolis was created by greatclare
I need software that allows me to create a social networking site that provides:
user profiles
IM
friending
ability to upload photos and videos so they can be rated.
Different user permissions
Groups
Easy syndication to RSS

Can Joomlapolis do all this?

Community Builder is one of the building-blocks you will need to do this.

You will need:
- Community Builder
- a CMS like Joomla or Mambo
- a PMS component like UddeIM
- ACL component like JACL
- A groups component like GroupJive
- A photo gallery plugin or component like CB Gallery Plugin

That's about it.

Community Builder will allow you to integrate all of them into a community website.
