Hi everybody,

first thanks to CB for a great feature here. However, I seem to have a proplem with people using hotmail addresses. Although they can register, they do not get any activation emails, welcome emails and so forth.

I can activate manually with no problem, but thats about it. It works fine with other email accounts.

I have looked through the forums both here and at joomla itself, but I cant find a solution to this. I do not think its my server, ISP and the such, as it seems to work fine with other features.

Any idea what to do or where to look?

To overcome the situation, I have a message that says "please do not use hotmail accounts" but is not exactly a solution.

I have the same problem, but with the email checker on, they can't even register.
I add the users manually with the user manager of joomla and not CB, that works for now.

Strange enough i do have users addes with hotmail, so it wasn't a problem before
