Captcha plugin

I installed the free captcha plugin and now when i try to put it on the login form it wont let me do anything "Direct Access to this location is not allowed."

it breaks my site...

Of course it does.

Your site is based on Joomla 1.5 (you neglected this piece of information - thus making people that would really want to help you guess).

The free CB Captcha is not Joomla 1.5 compatible.

This means that legacy plugin needs to be enabled (if you don't know what this means search the Joomla forums).

However even with legacy enabled you might have problems with this free captcha plugin.

do you know if there will be any updates to this to make it 1.5 native?

Captcha 2.2 is native, but its not freely distributed.
It is offered as a thank you to doc subscribers.
