1.1 can get installed with legacy plugin enabled.

But you will need to look at all stickies for the most annoying bugs of CB 1.1 on joomla 1.5.

We really recommend CB 1.2 RC 2, which has way less bugs already on Joomla 1.5. Of course also check the forum of identified issues to save some time.
