Resolved: Security Accessibility Mismatch

:whistle:Okay. I feel like a fool. I should've sassigned "Registered | Author" to regsitered users. Situation Normal: Op Error. Thanks!
I've put up two sites for non-profit groups of which I'm a members, stc-jamesriver.org and acmetreadway.net. The user menu shows only when a registered user logs in to the site; registered members are permitted to add articles.

However, CB/Joomla permits only those whose access is "admin" or above to actually use the hyperlink associated with the menu item.

The permission level for all sections, categories, and associated content items is set to "public." In CB 1.1, permission to the article tab is set for "registered" user. There should be no conflict. However, when a user with "registered" permission logs in and tries to write an article, CB/Joomla return this error:

"You are not authorised to view this resource."

If you can help, please give me your suggestions. Thanks very, very much!

Sincerely,

Don White

I believe this is a Joomla issue.

Joomla only permits authors and above to submit articles.

So even though your submit article menu is set for registered viewing only authors and above can really use it.
