Backend good, front end not good

Backend good, front end not good was created by Dustin
The administrator side appears to be working.
I did the following:

1. Installed the com_comprofiler and the mod_cblogin module. I unpublished the default login.
2. I synced up joomla database with CB.
3. I loaded sample data.
4. I made a menu link as instructed.
5. I set access to everybody.

When I view the link to the userlist, all I get is this:

"Please login or Register to view or modify your profile".

Also, when I try to login or register using the CB login module, I get the same message.

Thank you for any insights you may have.

There are at least 3 differnt places I can think of off hand you might want to check. One is the security level of the link in the menu, one if the security level in CB Config - User Profiles, and the last is the security level of the user list in question.

I should have posted earlier, sorry.

The problem was with the SmartSEF component.

In the SmartSEF Router Configuration Settings, the URL rewrite setting needs to be set at "Use SmartSEF basic rewriting".

So, this allows me to view the list and individual profiles.

I am still having problems with the login module.

I'll re-post when I get it fixed!
