Registration calendar was created by alessandro001
Hi all,
as i wrote in the subject field, i need to change or remove(remove is better) the jcalendar in my registration form (i want to display only date). Is there a way to do that without harming the code too much?

Thanks

Wellcome to Joomlapolis :-)

There are TWO settings:

1.) comprofiler / configuration
Tab Generall
Calender Type

2.) field type date
play with the "Field-specific Parameters"

IMHO is there no way to remove both calender type point 1) for a field type date.

workaround

choose text field instead of dat efield

You will need to look at the javascript file calendardateinput.js as the calendar is added there to the drop-downs.

There is no CB setting to select one or the other method for now, sorry.

alessandro001, do you want the jcalendar or not?
You seem to be crossposting the same issue, look at this: www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,38/func,view/id,69072/catid,58/

Btw, things are more and more getting difficult
to cater for all (old) versions of software.
MSIE 6 is ranked under notion. You could look at it from a different angle and try to get your users
over to IE7, which is a "little" better than IE6.
The difference is here that IE 7 is supported by Microsoft and IE6 not anymore.
