Hi all,

I'm using Joomla 1.5.3 with CB 1.2 (with french language pack from pachat utf8 version).

The problem is when user try to sign up with a hotmail.com, live.fr or yahoo.com mail address the verification do not work. And finally the mail is not sent. When i use my gmail address it is ok.

Do someone already solved this problem ? is it a bug or a misconfiguration ?

I have used hotmail and gmail many times in my tests and they have worked. However note that hotmail it almost always ended up in my junk mail folder. Check there.

Hi and thanks for you answer. This can explain some of the trouble i have but with yahoo i do not receive anything (tested many times with my yahoo account and checked spam).

Maybe is cause i use php mail function ? is smtp better ?

The problem could be SPF. Your DNS must have an SPF record, in other case Hotmail rejects messages.

I have the same problem.
I text using joomla mass mailer (because i aproved the user not validated) and its OK, but i dont recive the checking mail registration.
I use SMTP, Sendmail and PHP function and i have the same problem.
No solution?
