Okay, I just downloaded 1.2. Haw do I get fireboard installed, an running with CB and synced with profiles and all that jazz?

Enable the CB Plugin for Fireboard and set up the FB configuration to use CB profiles and login. About the only thing you'll have to fix then is the profilebox.php in the fireboard component directory to either get rid of the login and profile links or update them with the CB links.
