Problem with subfolder showing up twice in URL

15 years 10 months ago #66215 by treggeee
I have my joomla in a subfolder called home. Anything i click within (frontend) community builder, whether registering or editing etc i get 2 subfolders going on.

www.mywebsite.com/home/home/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userDetails

Do you notice the /home/home
there is only suppose to be one.
the weird part is there is not a subfolder called home within home. Whats going on?

UPDATE: Can anyone help with this? I cant switch on my SEO because of it.

Can someone please help me? I uninstalled and deleted all tables within the database. Tried a fresh install and still have the same problem. I subscribed and all because you do have a great product and wanted to contribute. I have to keep my seo off. :(
I'll pay another $40 to get some help.

Would really help if you gave more details ...

Which Joomla?
Which php?
Which mysql?
Which SEO?

and CB version ? i suppose CB 1.2 RC ?

EDIT: also, would be useful to check your "live_site" setting in configuration.php

joomla 1.5.3 in legacy mode 1.0
php 4.3.11
mysql 5.0.45-log
seo in global configuration with .htaccess in the root folder. It works with everything else because there is just 1 /home. and not 2 /home/home

It all started with this error.

Awesome! Thanks so much to beat for helping me fix this and other problems! Here's what happened;

In my configuration.php i simply changed

var $live_site = '/home';

to

var $live_site = '';

Thank you!
