fireboard profiles and CB user profiles

Hi friends,

i´ve installed the fireboard forum before i have installed the CB 1.2 RC2.

Now it is so, that users on my website have edit his profile inside the fireboard forum.

An essential question.
I work since two days with CB 1.2 RC2 and the documention. So far so good (-:

But i ask myself why it´s possible to have two user profiles? One profil in fireboard an one profile in CB.

How to make it for the user possible, that there is only one profile (for CB and fireboard together = 1 profile) which can edited and so on.

Hello,

Assuming you are using FireBoard 1.0.4, there are options in the FireBoard configuration to integrate with Community Builder. Toward the bottom of the FB configuration page is a section titled "Integration".

Avatar Integration -- CB
Profile Setting -- CB
Community Builder --
-- Community Builder user profiles --yes
-- Create Community Builder forum profile -- >click here< link

That should have the profile link in FireBoard open the users CB profile. FB profiles will no longer be used.

Works also with 1.0.5+. Make sure you use the CB Fireboard Plugin (just needs to be enabled and set parameters).

I did all the steps and it works...however when user is logged in the forum...there are two 'links' to myprofile...take a look at the attachment below...

1.The 'My Profile' with the red arrow---will display as what seen in attachment...what I want is the CB profile..

2. 'My Profile' in the yellow box works fine, it display the CB profile..

So, do u have any suggestion on how to:

1. Disable the 'My Profile' with the red arrow
2. Or if user click on it, it will display the CB profile...

shah, I believe you're posting in the wrong area. This is the 1.2 area, available only to doc subscribers. The plugin is also available in 1.2 that completes the integration.
