Plugin installation errors

Plugin installation errors was created by jmd
We cannot install Nant's Gallery nor Profile Book on 1.2 RC3 (Joomla 1.5.7 under suphp)
When upload finished we get message "direct access not allowed" Going back to the plugin manager shows the plugins but both show red cross "uninstalled" and "unpublished"
Clicking "delete" gives an interesting error message "CB ProfileBook has no readable xml file /home/jmdchur/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbprofilebook/cb.profilebook.xml, and might not be uninstalled completely"
This is clearly related to these 2 plugins since Captcha Plugin 2.2 we can upload without any issues
