I've made a decision to utilize the phpBB3 forum with my site. I would like to request some expert opinions on how to set up. I am expecting a sizable user population (thousands) within 12mos and I want to have the best setup for the projected growth, not where we are now.



Here is what I'm working with:



site is built joomla 1.5.7.

Community Builder integration 1.2 RC3

Apache version 1.3.41 (Unix)

PHP version 5.2.6

MySQL version 5.0.51a-community

Architecture i686

Operating system Linux



Should the forum be setup on a separate database and subdomain? What do recommend if you're expecting a large user pop.?
