Bug? :uploading image for image-field not possible was created by jhubers
I reported this before but this time with an additional picture to make things clear.
When a image-field is set to 'not required' the browse-button does not appear when you select 'upload profile image'. This happens in the back and frontend
The imagefield in this example is configured exactly the same as the Avatar-field.
The picture shows different behaviour uploading the Avatar and the image-field in the backend..
Someone with the same problem or a solution?

I was not able to duplicate this problem.
Try setting the size restrictions in the backend of the field instead of relying on pulling the default sizes. Also ensure it's not set to user read only.
