I am using a third party component- zipcodesearch store locator for CB and have a multi-field that I am displaying in the search results. In the CB field specific parameters I have it set to display the profile as a comma seperated line and it works within CB. Unfortunately using the call- <?php echo $link->cb_specialty; ?>

it displays the results like this-
specialty 1|*|specialty2|*| and so on.

Anyone have any recommendation to remove the |*| and substitute with a comma? I am getting desperate. The zipcode guys are really unhelpful here....
