The CB Helloworld plugin is a CB plugin and all CB plugins are installed via the CB Plugin Management backend - not the Joomla installation area.

Hi...I want to get started with this, it is installed, but I get "Direct Access to this location is not allowed."

Its written for Joomla 1.0.X ... so turn on legacy plugin.

I want to tinker with the helloworld2 plugin, but when i go to uninstall it from CB plugin manager, there's a lock where the check box should be. how do i unlock it, and why did it become locked in the first place?

CANCEL REQUEST: i figured it out.

i was having problems searching for a solution because i was searching for "lock" and getting every forum page with the phrase "lock this thread", etc.

it turns out i just needed to click "save" instead of "apply" in the helloworld cb plugin manager page. still not sure why, but it worked.
