The same problem was reported before by someone else with regards to CB1.2 RC3 (but no answer on the forum).

I also was unable with RC3 to edit nor to add a new user in the backend, I now upgraded to RC4 but this problem still remains unsolved.

I am using Joomla 1.5.7 and CB1.2 RC4. After opening CB usermanagement I edit a user, when clicking the save button an "error on page" message (translated from dutch) appears in the left corner at the bottom of IE7:

Error "gid.value is empty or no object"
Code: 0

Hope somebody can help.

similar issue with backed useredit - in joomla 1.0.15 & cb 1.2 RC 4

When trying to edit a user's field in the backed, after clicking "save" i get this message:

* trying with different registration settings - like "confirmation" or not.

Hi,
we have had the same problem after installing the cb 1.2 RC4 with j1.0.15... we try to remember...

we noticed that there is no problem with the user edit from backend when the profilegallery tab was off.

what we did:

- deinstallation of older cb version
- deleting from database (backup!!):
jos_comprofiler_plugin
jos_comprofiler_plug_profilegallery
jos_comprofiler_plug_profilebook

- installation of cb 1.2 RC4 with new plugins

the problem was the older (cb1.1) files on database.
