multi checkbox not remainig checked

multi checkbox not remainig checked was created by cspgsl
I have a tab with a multi checkbox field of 12 items.

When a user checks all 12 items and updates his profile there are 4 items that do not remain checked.

Any thoughts appreciated

Joomla version? Was not able to duplicate on J1.0. Are the words extremely long? Have you considered trying multi-select drop down to see if that has the same result?

I literally just solved the issue 10 minutes ago. The category id's were not the same on the new site as the old. Once I changed them manually to match it worked instantly

Sorry, I gave you the wrong fix. :laugh:

There were special characters in the checkbox values. I used & instead of the plain & by mistake

The other fix I gave you was for a different post in the joomla forum.

I figured them out about the same time
