I am currently running a site that I upgraded to Joomla 1.5 thinking that this problem was caused by an older version of Community Builder, but now I've got the same problem on CB 1.2 RC4 that I had on my old one.

I have many registered users, and want some of them to confirm their email addresses before logging in again.

I have selected a test username and have set it to:

Enabled: Yes
Confirmed: No
Approved: Yes

I set the configuration in CB to

Require Admin Approval: No
Require Email Confirmation: Yes


However, the email that comes through has a blank confirmcode. I have searched through the forums and there seems to be a lot of people having this problem. Anyone have any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Anyone? There are forum threads going back over a year on this problem. If it's not an easy fix, maybe this problem needs to go in the 'known bugs' list?
